Lorraine Meyer 2015 (Center) |
Many in the Society will be greatly saddened by the passing of Lorraine Meyer. She was a deliriously fun loving individual, enterprisingly intelligent, and was one of the best storytellers I've ever met. She constantly contributed to the Society's success and the loss of her talents and energy will be far felt by our community.

She married George R. Meyer, celebrating 58 years of marriage, upon his passing in 2012. Together they had traveled and worked around the globe.
To chronical her life would involve writing a small novel, something we had often suggested that she do! Many will remember her successful antique business and summer yard sales, as well as her knack for telling her stories. She was an amazing woman and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was predeceased by her brother Kevin Nash, her sister and brother-in-laws Patricia and Louis Caldarola, her brother-in-law Richard Meyer and her son-in-law Charles Doke.
As per her wishes, there will be no services. Burial to be in the spring of 2024, at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington.
The family would like to thank the many friends and Cornerstone VNA/Hospice for the excellent care given to our mother during her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Cornerstone VNA, 178 Farmington Road, Rochester, NH 03867.
