Join Us for our #FarmingtonNH Historical Society's 70th Year Anniversary Dinner November 22nd

Please plan to turn out on Friday, November 22, 2019 and help us celebrate 70 years of preserving Farmington's history!

The Farmington Historical Society 70th Anniversary with a Celebration Dinner on November 22, at 6:00 PM at the Farmington Country Club. The dinner will be catered by Darlene and Kim Cardinal, and feature apple stuffed maple BBQ chicken breast. A vegetarian option or apple stuffed squash will be available with notice at ticket purchase. The event will feature a brief presentation of the history of the Farmington Historical Society, which I know will be interesting and engaging for everyone. The dinner tickets are $20 per person, and can only be purchased in advance. A cash bar will be available. Each dinner will include salad, entrée with sides, and dessert. We also offer a variety of sponsorship levels if you would like to provide additional support, along with a family plan for young families.

The additional sponsorship and family levels are as follows:

$20 individual dinner ticket
$30 individual dinner ticket plus sponsorship of name in the program
$50 business/organizational sponsorship of 2 dinner tickets and an ad in the program
$50 family dinner ticket of 2 adults and up to 2 children under 12 years old.
We hope that you will consider attending this event and helping celebrate 70 years of preserving Farmington history. Having your support is instrumental in building a sense of community and belonging in Farmington, as well as to showcase the great work the Farmington Historical Society is doing for the Town of Farmington. The deadline for ticket purchase is November 15. If you want to purchase individual tickets or are interested in one of our additional sponsorship levels, please PM me, or contact the Farmington Historical Society directly at, or call 603-755-2525 and leave a message that indicates your questions, or the number of tickets you would like to purchase. You can also drop in at Turner Liberty Insurance and purchase tickets there. Unfortunately, tickets will not be sold at the door. They must be purchased in advance because we need a dinner count. Please make checks payable to the Farmington Historical Society.
Please feel free to also share this notice and invite your friends and colleagues to join us in this celebration. I hope that you will help us celebrate the Society as we work to improve the Town of Farmington and preserve its historic past.

The annual dinner this year is a fundraiser for the organization. Fundraising helps to make our annual scholarship possible and pays for online Museum of Farmington History hosting. Donations help to pay for professional restoration of artifacts. In the recent past they have also paid for digitization projects. Each donation also helps us get closer to our goal of being able to find a space of our own.

Please email questions about the event to or call with questions at 603-755-2525 and leave a message for the society President, Stan Freeda.

If you cannot attend the celebration, but would like to make a donation of any amount to the society, please send a check, made out the the Farmington Historical Society, to:
