Sharing Farmington Stories

We're trying something new at the Farmington Historical Society.  We're going to make history come alive through story telling.  This will be a participatory event in which volunteers in the audience will share their favorite stories about Farmington. Whether it be about past town events, family memories, friendships, favorite objects, come join us and share your memory of Farmington's past. If you just want to listen and learn, that's fine.  No pressure.  Refreshments will be served at 7:00 PM and our program will start at 7:15. You do not have to participate to attend. The program is open to all and all are welcome.
Planning Ahead to Participate?  Plan to take about 3-5 minutes and tell us:
  • Who you are and how long you have been in Farmington.
  • What it is you want to talk about:  object, event, location, time, family, etc.
  • How it relates to Farmington.
  • Why it is important to you.
We would like to capture your stories on video for a documentary we are making, but if you want to share but opt out of recording, you can do so!

Membership Meeting
There will be a membership meeting at 6:00 PM.  A meet and greet with the presenter along with light refreshments will begin after the meeting at 7:00, with the program starting at 7:15 PM.
The public is welcome to attend all our meetings and programs.  Annual membership dues are $5.00.
