In lieu of our December Meeting, the Historical Society will participate in the annual Tree Lighting in Farmington.  The Farmington Annual Tree Lighting will be held on Friday, December 2, at 6:30 pm at the Town Tree at the Town Square on Central and Main Streets.  The festivities will include Caroling, Hot Chocolate, provided by the Recreation Department, and Cookies, provided by the Historical Society.  Come, bring the kids and enjoy the festivities. Don't forget, Santa will arrive soon after the tree lighting!

The Historical Society will next meet on Friday,  January 6th at 5:30 in the Henry Wilson Museum.  We will not have a presentation, but will have several things to discuss, so please mark your calendars.  Dues are $5.00 and it is a great time to join!  Hope to see you there.
