The Restoration of Oil Paintings

Friday, May 3 at 7:00 PM in the Historical Society Museum of the Goodwin Library (lower floor)

Every picture tells a story and aside from being beautiful decorative objects, paintings can be important to us emotionally and culturally as historic documents. Martha will touch on the basics of what all of us can do to keep our paintings in the best shape possible and will share many dramatic and not so dramatic photos of typical and not so typical condition issues and their resolutions. The Society will convene for it's regular monthly meeting at 7:00 PM. The presentation will be free to the public. Refreshments will be served. The monthly meeting of the Historical Society will follow the presentation.
