Friends of Farmington

Friends of Farmington believes that addressing challenges in a positive and proactive manner can make Farmington a more vibrant and productive community.
In addition to providing support to other organizations that share this mindset, we have recently taken on a unique project of our own.

Friends of Farmington has entered into an agreement to purchase the historic Mason building located on Main St. The three story building has been vacant for some time and was recently renovated following a fire. It is just the place to put our plan into action. Our vision is to provide a place within the community to propel economic development with job skill training and resume writing, and foster small business by providing affordable incubator space. In addition, we will support our friends in Recovery by providing meeting space to support their efforts.

We have kicked off our fundraising efforts with a letter writing campaign, and will continue to work toward raising the roughly $100,000 needed to fund the building purchase as well as capital improvements.

Membership Meeting
There will be a membership meeting at 6:00 PM.  A meet and greet with the presenter along with light refreshments will begin after the meeting at 7:00, with the program starting at 7:15 PM.
The public is welcome to attend all our meetings and programs.  Annual membership dues are $5.00.
